A free monthly market on Merthyr High Street celebrating the best local food, drink and handmade goods from producers within 50 miles of the town. The Artisan & Farmers Market runs on the first Friday of every month (9am–2pm) and features a rotating selection of stalls — expect fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, dairy, baked goods, preserves, homemade crafts, jewellery and seasonal treats. It's a brilliant way to support local producers and find something a little different. Free to browse, and all are welcome. Upcoming dates: 5 June, 3 July, 7 August 2026.
